Safeguarding support
Safeguarding support.
If you are concerned about someone’s safety, use a specialist support or reporting route.
Concerns about a child.
The NSPCC provides guidance for adults worried about a child. Its website explains how to contact the helpline and what happens after you share a concern.
Use the NSPCC page for current contact options and availability. Luton Council’s child protection page also explains how to raise a local concern.
Concerns about an adult at risk.
Luton Council’s health and social care service provides local information and routes for raising safeguarding concerns. Its Adult Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is a route for concerns about adults at risk. Use the council’s reporting guidance below. Do not send sensitive case details through this website’s general enquiry form.
For mosques and community organisations.
This site does not certify individual safeguarding arrangements. Current approved policies, responsibilities and training resources need to be maintained by each organisation. Historical templates are not offered as current guidance.
