Privacy
Your information matters.
Information about how this website handles your data.
Visiting the website.
This website collects anonymous page-view counts, estimated article and statement reads, and counts of enquiries accepted by our email service. Daily totals are retained for historical reporting. No analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers are used. Enquiry content, email addresses, raw IP addresses and URL query strings are not stored in analytics. Temporary random page-view receipts older than seven days are routinely removed. Do Not Track is respected. These counts do not identify unique visitors. Fonts and editorial images are served by the application or its content service.
The website is hosted on Railway. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs, to operate the service. External websites have their own privacy arrangements.
Podcast video links.
Featured mosque profiles link to Houses of Allah episodes on YouTube. Their thumbnail images load from YouTube’s image service, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address. We do not embed a player or autoplay videos. Watching an episode opens YouTube, which has its own privacy arrangements.
Interactive maps.
The directory map loads only when you select Show map. Opening it requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address and the page referring the request. We do not request your device location. Directions links open Google Maps, which has its own privacy arrangements.
Contact enquiries.
The contact form sends your name, email, enquiry type and message to Luton Council of Mosques through our configured email service. The application does not store enquiry names, email addresses or messages in a database. Please avoid sending health information, safeguarding case details or other sensitive personal information.
Basic spam protection uses short-lived in-memory request counters. Form content is not intentionally written to application logs.
