Report hate. Get support

Report hate. Get support.

If you experience or witness hate crime, there are several ways to report it and find support.

Report to the police.

For a non-emergency incident, call 101. You can also report online through the police or True Vision, or speak to an officer at a police station.

On public transport, you can text British Transport Police on 61016. In an emergency, call 999.

Community reporting and support.

MCB also lists the Islamophobia Response Unit, British Muslim Trust and Muslim Safety Net as routes for reporting Islamophobia and seeking support.

You can contact British Muslim Trust on 0808 172 3524. Muslim Safety Net accepts SMS and WhatsApp messages on 07311 876 378. Use each organisation’s website for its current service information.

Guidance from the Muslim Council of Britain.

MCB’s reporting guide brings these options together with community safety advice. Our general enquiry form is not an emergency or incident-reporting service.

External providers maintain their own information and services.
