The Muslim community in Luton stands together with London to express our sadness at
the senseless loss of lives in Westminster today.

We extend our sympathy and condolences to all those who are grieving for loved one’s tonight; and those injured and traumatised by this barbaric and depraved act of violence.

We must also pay tribute to our Police and emergency services who work so hard to look after us all; remembering that an officer has today lost his life whilst carrying out this duty. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

These attacks are designed to polarise communities and turn us against one another. We are committed to rise above this narrative of hate and division and remain united with our friends and neighbours in our sincere endeavour to oppose all those who seek to harm us.
