Today a series of Islamophobia and Hate crime workshops began at the Mall jointly delivered with Bedfordshire police, Lantern Muslim Women’s Group, Luton Council of Mosques and Sunni Council of Mosques.
Over the coming fortnight, 50 – 60 frontline staff and senior management from the Mall will attend the workshops.
The objectives are to raise awareness of Islamophobia, increase awareness around how to support victims and report crimes as well as reduce levels of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hate crimes.
