In September 2020, Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) will be changing in England’s schools.
Given these changes and the types of resources taught in schools, parents need to engage with their children’s schools whilst they are planning these subjects.
The session will cover the following:
1) Supporting parents to understand the changes to SRE in schools
2) Empower parents to effectively engage with schools
3) Equip parents with the ability to discuss sensitive issues with their children
Yusuf Patel, founder of SREIslamic, which supports parents to challenge inappropriate SRE in schools and supports them to discuss sensitive subjects.
